Hurry Up Hummus

Hurry Up Hummus is a healthy appetizer option that is quick and easy to prepare and serve. Sliced veggies, crackers or seasoned toast made great dippers for this delicious spread.

  • 1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika


  1. Purée the beans in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Mix the puréed beans with remaining ingredients in a serving bowl.
  3. Serve with cut raw vegetables, crackers or pita bread for dipping.
