May is National Salsa Month! Did you know salsa actually means “sauce” in Spanish? So while Americans typically think of salsa as a tomato-based partner to tortilla chips, it can also refer to an infinite variety of chunky sauces served alongside or on top of fish or meat, or as a dip for everything from chips to crudité and more.
