Persons 12 Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 5 minutes Total Time 15 minutes Ingredients 1 can (14 to 15 ounces) blueberries in light syrup* 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon cornstarch * If you use canned blueberries in water or natural juices, add 2 tablespoons sugar. Before boiling, add ½ to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and ¼ teaspoon black pepper Before boiling add 2 teaspoons freshly ground ginger. After cooking, mix in 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh mint. After cooking, mix in 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh basil or rosemary, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. After cooking, mix in 1 tablespoon fresh lavender buds and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
